Enhance Bandwidth to the Home for HDTV and Other Services

Argentina's largest cable video service provider and one of the largest
multi-service operators (MSOs) in Latin America with over 6.5 million
homes passed, has deployed Harmonic’s HFC
access solutions for a substantial network upgrade. Cablevision’s
network segmentation project, using Harmonic’s PWRBlazer™ scalable nodes
and PWRLink™ transmitters, increases bandwidth to the home for advanced
video services such as HDTV, as well as high-speed Internet and
telephony. The HFC upgrade has been completed in regions around the
country, including Buenos Aires.
